Paul Hegarty gained his Medical degree at University College Cork and has trained in Ireland, the UK and the USA. He completed a Masters in Medical Science and MCh degree as well as an MBA in Life Sciences. He has completed Fellowships in Surgical Andrology, also focusing on the modern surgical treatment of Penile Cancer. He also completed a Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas in Urologic Oncology where he gained extensive experience in the treatment of kidney, prostate and bladder cancer.
Mr Hegarty has worked as a Consultant at University College London and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals specialising in urologic cancers, modern treatment for penile cancer and andrology and fertility.
He has published widely, with over 80 publications and book chapters and has presented extensively in international meetings. He also mentors surgery all over the world.
