Mr Hannon is a medical graduate of University College Dublin and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He was a Research Fellow of South Manchester University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Mr Hannon completed his Higher Surgical Training at the North Western Deanery, Manchester (2007) and his specialist fellowship training in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery at Hope Hospital, Salford, and Advanced Pelvic Malignancy at the Christie Hospital Manchester (2008).

Mr Hannon uses the THD (Transanal Hemorrhoidal Dearterialisation) method to resolve painful haemorrhoids; a minimally invasive outpatient procedure that requires no tissue to be cut or removed. Ensures minimal discomfort and typically allows patients to resume normal activity within a few days.
